GCA Appointments
Club members who serve as judges and representatives for the Garden Club of America, including Floral Design, Horticulture, Photography, and Botanical Arts judges.

Zone 1 Appointments
Our representatives to GCA Zone 1, which comprises 18 New England clubs with over 1,300 members. Zone meetings are held biennially.

Garden History & Design
Documents and submits significant Nantucket gardens to the Smithsonian Archives of American Gardens. Nine island gardens have been archived since 2005.

Past Presidents
The women who have led the Nantucket Garden Club since its founding in 1953, preserving our history and continuing to guide the organization.

Board of Directors
The Executive Committee and Committee Chairs who govern the club, including the President, Vice Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurer, and standing committee leaders.

Committee Chairs
Members who lead the club’s standing and special committees, overseeing programs from conservation to horticulture to the annual House Tour.

Program of Meetings
The schedule of General Meetings, Board Meetings, workshops, and special events held from April through August each season.

Membership
Active, Affiliate, and Provisional members who share a love of gardening and commitment to Nantucket’s beauty. Annual dues support club programs and conservation.

GCA & NGC Awards
Recognition from the Garden Club of America and Nantucket Garden Club honoring members for outstanding contributions in horticulture, conservation, floral design, photography, and club service.

The NGC Merit Award
The Nantucket Garden Club’s highest honor, presented to members who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership, and service to the club and its mission.

Green Thumb Flower Show Awards
Ribbons and honors earned by members at the Green Thumb Flower Show, recognizing excellence in horticulture exhibits, floral design arrangements, and botanical arts.

Daffodil Awards
Recognition for outstanding entries at the Annual Daffodil Show, including awards for best specimen blooms, collections, and artistic arrangements featuring Nantucket-grown daffodils.
