Fillable Membership Application Form
The membership application is a fillable PDF form available on the NGC website.
How to Download the Application
Visit the NGC website and click the Download button or link.
Choose Save As (if prompted) and save the file to an easy-to-find location such as your Desktop or Documents folder.
Locate the file on your computer.
Confirm the file ends in .pdf (example: MembershipApplication.pdf).
How to Send the Application by Email
Open your email application and start a new message.
Click the paperclip icon (Attach File).
Browse to the folder where the PDF is saved, select the file, and click Open.
The PDF will appear as an attachment.

Download the file to your computer (do not complete it in your web browser).

Important Information for Proposers
Please clearly communicate the time commitment required to become an Active member and the ongoing responsibilities to remain in good standing.
The completed typed membership application, along with two supporting letters from seconders, must be emailed to the Membership Chairman or hand-delivered no later than July 15.
Seconders may not be officers of the club or members of the Membership Committee.
Supporting Letters Requirements
Letters should be brief.
They must address the Candidate’s proven interest and prior activities in:
Horticulture
Floral design
Conservation
Preservation of the environment
Letters should describe the Candidate’s talents and skills that would benefit the club.
When possible, include firsthand experiences working with the Candidate in a volunteer capacity.
Application Review Process
Candidates are considered in the order that completed applications are received.
Applications may be submitted beginning September 1.
Membership Eligibility Requirements
Attend three (3) General Meetings:
At least one meeting must occur during the same summer the application is submitted.
The July meeting may count toward the three, even if it occurs after the application deadline.
Up to two meetings may be from the summer prior to applying.
The Candidate must personally sign the attendance book at each meeting.
The Candidate must be introduced to all members of the Membership Committee, including the Club President.
The Proposer and Candidate are expected to attend a Membership Committee gathering by invitation of the Membership Chair on July 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
